Are sessions held online or in-person?

Sessions can be held online or in-person. Online has been shown to be more effective. It is thought that the lack of having to find the therapy room, find parking and pay for parking keeps stress levels low. By sitting in a comfortable place in your own space where you won’t be disturbed, you are more relaxed and hypnotherapy can work most effectively.

How much time do I need to make for the appointment?

The process will require two appointments. The first is strategy call to learn more about you so that the hypnotherapy can be personalised to you. This initial appointment takes approximately 30 minutes. The second appointment is the hypnosis session. This appointment takes approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. The first 30-40 minutes will be discussing any questions you may as well as testing how well hypnotherapy will work for you. If you respond well, I’ll then check with you again that you’re ready to quit smoking/vaping. If yes, then we’ll start the hypnosis. At the end of the hypnosis is a short discussion about the follow up work that you need to complete.

I’m not sure I want to stop smoking/vaping. Will this still work?

Hypnosis is not a fix in itself. It works with your mindset and intention. If you’re not sure you want to stop smoking, the hypnosis will work initially but abstinence may not be sustained. If you’re not sure and you’d like to discuss this further, please book an enquiry call.

What happens if I choose online and the Zoom call disconnects. Am I stuck in hypnosis?

There’s a common misconception that hypnosis is a trance like state that you need to be woken up from. Hypnosis is a relaxed state. You are in control the whole time and can stop the hypnosis whenever you like. If a call disconnects during the hypnosis, you will soon realise that you can’t hear my voice anymore and be able to open your eyes and be fully aware. If this happens, we can continue the hypnosis, however, we may need to repeat it again at a later date (at no additional cost).

Does hypnosis really work?

What if the hypnosis doesn’t work for me?

Hypnosis doesn’t work for everyone. The technique I use has been found to be approximately 95% effective. If, after the hypnosis, cravings come back, let me know as soon as possible so that we can work together using EFT to help beat the cravings before you pick up a cigarette/vape.

How much do you charge?

The whole process of the strategy apointment and the hypnosis appointment costs £165. There is no additional charge for a follow up EFT session if the cravings are still present.
